Digital Dreamers Update
The goal is 100% one to one technology. We want every CCHS student to have a chromebook available to them.
The Digital Dreamers comprehensive technology program is the School District’s initiative to increase students’ technological footprint and prepare them to be globally competitive students. In order to support this initiative, all students at Chamblee HS are eligible to receive a Google Chromebook. The Chromebook is considered educational material, and just like a traditional textbook, all students are required to have this resource to support teaching, learning, and assessments. Students participating in the Digital Dreamers Comprehensive Technology Program will receive an Acer R11 Chromebook Device pre-loaded with district specific software and wireless capabilities.
In order to receive a device, the parent/guardian listed in Infinite Campus and student must sign up online or sign and return the attached user agreement to the school. Please click the following link to print & sign the user agreement. Parents and students must sign and return this agreement before a device can be issued. Students will turn in their signed forms when they come to the Library Media Center to receive their Chromebook, beginning Monday, Aug. 26th. See your social studies teacher if you need a copy of the form or pick up one from the front desk.
Online sign ups must be done by midnight prior to the day of the student's distribution to be accurately reflected on the school's report. Sign ups done after midnight may result in the student waiting until make ups to pick up a chrome book.

El programa de tecnología integral Digital Dreamers es una iniciativa del distrito con el fin de aumentar la huella tecnológica de estudiantes y prepararlos para ser competitivos globalmente. Para poder apoyar esta iniciativa, todos los estudiantes de Chamblee HS son elegibles para recibir un Google Chromebook. El Chromebook es considerado una herramienta educativa, y al igual que un libro de texto tradicional, es un recurso para apoyar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje.
New students will be assigned chrome books as inventory becomes available.
Any students who are unable to pick up a chrome book this week due to limited inventory will receive ordering information after the distribution period.
Any chrome books not picked up by returning students during the specified times will be distributed to other students.
Only eligible students can pick up a chrome book.Eligibility Criteria:
- Student returned chrome book and accessories from the previous year.
- Student signed up online by deadline (midnight on the day before the specified grade level distribution day) or has a hard copy of the completed user agreement in hand during the specified distribution time.
- Student's chrome book submitted for repair the previous year has been repaired and is available for distribution according to school records.
If any portion of the Chromebook (charger, bag, the Chromebook itself) was missing when the student turned it in last May, a replacement must be purchased before a new Chromebook may be issued this year. or - Bring a hard copy of the digital user agreement with you.
Once all available chromebooks have been distributed, we will order additional chromebooks for students who sign up online or submit a hard copy of the user agreement. Drop off the user agreement in the media center to Ms. Roseline (IT Tech).
