The Dekalb County School District announces the opening of a new Centralized Online Registration (OLR) Center at the former Avondale High School site, located at 1192 Clarendon Ave, Avondale Estates, GA 30002.
The Centralized OLR Center will provide a one-stop-shop for parents registering NEW students in DeKalb County Schools. Parents will have the option to complete the application at home or complete the application at the Centralized OLR center by scheduling an appointment online. Appointments are preferred, but parents are always allowed to visit the site to complete the registration process. The center will feature two computer labs solely dedicated for parents to register students, as well as a call center that will operate during the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm to assist with questions and a triage room staffed with personnel to provide 1:1 support with uploading documentation needed to complete the registration process.
To assist with troubleshooting, the center will also have consultation rooms staffed with representatives of various school district departments that will be able to provide assistance and answer questions onsite. The Centralized OLR Center opens for service on Monday, July 16, 2018. The summer hours will be Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
