CCHS History
Chamblee Charter High School was established in 1917 and is one of DeKalb County’s oldest schools. Our school was accredited in 1935 and became a Charter School in 2001. Our aim is to create an environment where all students strive to reach their highest potential. Chamblee Charter High School includes grades 9 - 12. The student body is composed of local students, as well as students from the Charter Program or the Magnet Program for High Achievers. Our student body is racially balanced, and culturally and economically diverse.

Principal Norman Sauce, Ed. D., and the talented faculty of Chamblee Charter High School work together to create an innovative learning environment. The parents, students and staff of Chamblee Charter High School seek to build a school that is nationally competitive in academics, the arts, athletics and service to the community. We believe that the road to excellence is through an environment in which all students strive to reach their highest potential.
