The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Jr (SHPE Jr) at Chamblee Charter HS exist to promote and encourage students to pursue opportunities and experiences in STEM that will help them to build skills in areas such as teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, project based learning that will equip them to become leaders and productive members of a global technological society. SHPE is a national organization whose mission is to changes lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support and development. SHPE's vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians and engineers.
