"This semester, the committee submitted for approval a form for CHS students to give to nonprofits for a signature, etc., as a way to verify their service hours. The students can submit this form to their respective clubs or to the counseling office for the school's community service award.
This form is another option for students, as other service letters or verification on letterhead can also still be submitted. The committee wanted to ease the burden on some nonprofits that did not already have a verification form for volunteers.
The Club sponsors members can also use this form for verification. Ms. Barnes says this form can be submitted for the school service award that is presented by the counseling office."
